IAF ISO Certificate को लेकर 2026 में एक बड़ा बदलाव हुआ है। International Accreditation Forum (IAF) ने 1 जनवरी 2026 से अपनी membership और operational activities बंद कर दी हैं। इसके बाद international accreditation system में नई Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated ने काम शुरू किया है.

इस official IAF news में बताया गया है कि Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated ने 1 January 2026 से full operations शुरू कीं और IAF तथा ILAC के काम को नई organisation के तहत लाया गया।
IAF क्या है?
IAF का पूरा नाम International Accreditation Forum है।
IAF international accreditation system से जुड़ा organisation था। इसका काम accreditation bodies और certification से जुड़े international recognition system को support करना था।
IAF की official information के अनुसार, 1 January 2026 से IAF ने अपनी membership और operational activities बंद कर दी हैं।
IAF ISO Certificate से जुड़ा क्या बदलाव हुआ?
सबसे पहले एक बात समझना जरूरी है:
IAF खुद ISO 9001 certificate जारी नहीं करता।
ISO 9001 certificate आमतौर पर एक Certification Body (CB) जारी करती है। उस Certification Body की accreditation एक Accreditation Body (AB) के माध्यम से होती है।
इसलिए किसी certificate पर IAF का logo या mark दिखाई देने का मतलब यह नहीं है कि IAF ने वह ISO certificate सीधे जारी किया है।
1 जनवरी 2026 के बाद क्या हुआ?
IAF की official announcement के अनुसार:
- IAF ने अपनी membership और operational activities बंद कर दीं।
- ILAC ने भी अपने पुराने रूप में काम करना बंद किया।
- Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated ने 1 January 2026 से full operations शुरू किए।
- नई organisation ने international accreditation recognition के लिए नया framework शुरू किया।
सरल भाषा में, IAF और ILAC के पुराने framework से नई Global Accreditation Cooperation व्यवस्था की ओर transition हुआ है।
क्या IAF ISO Certificate अब Invalid हो गया?
सिर्फ IAF logo देखकर किसी ISO certificate को invalid नहीं कहा जा सकता।
यह बहुत जरूरी बात है।
किसी IAF ISO Certificate की स्थिति उसके:
- Certification Body
- Accreditation Body
- Certificate number
- Validity date
- Accreditation arrangement
पर depend करती है।
इसलिए ISO certificate holder को अपने Certification Body या Accreditation Body से अपने certificate की current स्थिति की पुष्टि करनी चाहिए।
IAF Logo वाले ISO Certificate Holders क्या करें?
अगर आपके ISO certificate पर IAF logo या IAF MLA mark है, तो घबराने की जरूरत नहीं है।
इन basic steps को follow करें:
- अपना original ISO certificate सुरक्षित रखें।
- Certificate number और expiry date check करें।
- Certificate जारी करने वाली Certification Body का नाम देखें।
- Accreditation Body की जानकारी देखें।
- Certification Body से 2026 transition के बारे में confirmation लें।
- बिना official confirmation के certificate को cancel या replace न करें।
क्या IAF Logo अभी भी इस्तेमाल हो सकता है?
IAF और नई Global Accreditation Cooperation के बीच transition के लिए अलग rules और arrangements बनाए गए हैं।
IAF की official resolutions में IAF trademark और पुराने accreditation work को नई organisation में transition करने से संबंधित arrangements दिए गए हैं। इसलिए IAF logo या mark के इस्तेमाल को लेकर अलग-अलग cases में लागू rules देखना जरूरी है।
